Meet the theatre lovers and theatre makers who are ready to get back to live performances. They’re each taking the pledge to safely bring back New Jersey theatre.
As frequent and enthusiastic audience members at many theatres in the state, David and Everett are taking the pledge because they can’t wait to get back to live theatre with their friends and family.
Nikkole’s work has been seen in New Jersey, on Broadway, off-Broadway, and on television. She is also the chair of the board of Theatre Communications Group, where she advocates for theatre on a national level.
Brielle & Dorian cannot wait to see the bright lights turn on across New Jersey Theatre. They are taking the pledge because they know we all have a role to play in making that happen.
Vivia loves falling into a great story on stage. She has produced several large-scale outdoor events during COVID and is excited to get back to indoor stages.
Alyssa has made the best of digital theatre during COVID, but misses the feeling of community that forms during in-person rehearsals.
Andrew is the artistic director of Yendor Theatre Company in Newark. He has spent the pandemic reflecting and re-evaluating, to ensure that his theatre comes back stronger than ever.
Dustin was part of the Education Re-opening SubCommittee for New Jersey Theatre Alliance, and is excited and ready to return to teaching and directing with safety center stage.
Eunice knows that returning to live performance will be an emotional experience. She’s spent the pandemic focused on audio work, but can’t wait for that moment when she’s back with a live audience.
Patricia loves making a glamorous evening out of her theatre-going. She wants to return to show her support to New Jersey’s artists and let them know how much they were missed.
